Sales Manager – Project Management Consultancy (PMC)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to spearhead our business development
efforts for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services. The ideal candidate will have a solid B2B
sales background with proven success in the construction, real estate, or infrastructure sectors. This
role requires a strong hunter mindset, the ability to build long-term client relationships, and a deep
understanding of PMC offerings.
Department: Business Development / Sales
Reports To: Head of Business Development / Director – Sales & Marketing
Experience Required: 5–10 years (preferably in construction, real estate, or infrastructure
sectors)
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Civil Engineering (MBA preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities for PMC services across targeted
industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, builders,
architects, and consultants.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and client acquisition targets.
Craft and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and sales pitches tailored to client needs.
Collaborate closely with project and technical teams to offer integrated, value-driven solutions.
Lead contract negotiations and drive deal closures with a focus on profitability and client
satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive
edge.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and professional networking forums.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM systems.
Provide regular reporting, sales forecasts, and performance insights to senior leadership.
Key Competencies & Skills:
Strong understanding of PMC services and construction project lifecycles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strategic thinker with a solution-oriented, customer-first mindset.
Well-connected in the real estate, construction, and infrastructure ecosystem.
Proficiency in CRM platforms, MS Office Suite, and sales enablement tools.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
Preferred Experience:
Proven track record in selling PMC, EPC, or construction-related services.
Experience dealing with government tenders and large institutional clients.
Existing network of industry contacts, including developers, architects, and consultants.
